    1. Day1 Arrival-Tirana

      Meet with our representatives at Tirana Airport. Continue to Tirana. Depending on time of arrival in Tirana, we may do a short city tour before or after check in at the hotel. In the evening, we’ll have dinner at a traditional restaurant and then explore the nightlife of Tirana, walking in the ex-block area known as ”the forbidden town” where the villas of the communists’ leaders are still standing next to trendy boutiques, expensive jewelry shops and active local pubs.     2. Day2 Tirana- Petrela- Mount of Dajti

      Begin the Tour of Tirana City. It starts with a visit at Skanderbeg Square, followed by a stop at the Mosque of Et`hem Bey built in 1830. Visit the new opened Atonic bunker, the Bunk’art2 museum in Tirana opened to the public describing it as a museum throwing light on political persecution during the Albanian communist era. The museum – called Bunk’Art 2 – is also intended as a memorial to the tens of thousands of people who were imprisoned and executed by the communist regime,” continue with Opera House (National Theater of Opera and Ballet) looks over the Scanderbeg Square. A walk in the main boulevard provides a close sight of the City Hall and a number of Governmental buildings, on both sides. You cannot miss the national gallery of Arts along this walk. After we will visit The Martyrs Cemetery, the monument of Mother Albania, 12 meters high, was inaugurated in 1971. We will continue to Petrela Castle – which dates back to 4th century B.C. This Castle is built on a rocky hill, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view. At noon, we take the cable car (built by the Austrians, European Masters in the business) to Dajti Mountain, 1200m above sea level. A short break for lunch at one of the most panoramic restaurants in Dajti, offers a wonderful view of Tirana lying at the foot of the mountain. “Panorama” Restaurants looks like a big balcony over the capital of Albania. Upon return to the city in the evening, a visit to the former Communist Residential area, with modern bars, restaurants and pubs where the populated by different age groups, especially Albanian youth.     3. Day3 Tirana - Durres- Berat

      After breakfast we will drive to to Durres– the ancient Greco-Roman port city of Dyrrachium. you will visit the Amphitheatre (2nd, century AD)and the Archeological Museum, continue with ss tour of the old town, coffer break and continue to Berat, before reaching Berati, we will stop and visit the Winery of Cobo, were we can try different red and white wine the best Albanian wine,. Continue to the Castle, before we visit the Castle we will have optional Lunch in local Restaurant inside the castle. Berat it is known as the “City of one thousand windows” and is declared a Museum City. Berat, over shadowed to the east by Tomorr Mountain 2415 m, and is an ancient Illyrian settlement founded in the 4th & 5th centuries B.C. on the territory of the Illyrian tribe of Desarettes. The town is composed of 3 parts; Gorica, situated on the far side of the river; Mangalem, situated on the fortress side of the river and the Residential quarter within the fortress known as kalaja.     4. Day4 Berat- Osumi canyons

      After the breakfast- Departure to the canyons of Osumit. The trip lasts 1 hour and 30 min (60 km).Arrival between canyons and preparing to start your life changing travel adventure. After moments that will pass are indescribable and everything that unfolds (8 waterfalls, ancient places like the cathedral, the gate of the devil, eye, and virgin nature). Osumi is a miracle among the canyons, down blue waterfall whole group eats lunch packed (fast food). The adventure lasts between 1.5 to 4 hours in the canyons depending on river level.     5. Day5 Berat- Gjirokastra- Saranda

      After breakfast morning depart to Gjirokastra known as “Museum City”. To Gjirokastra city where the dwelling houses have the form of medieval towers constituting a building ensemble with a characteristic architecture. Visit the Castle and the Museum of Weapons. Which was formerly a political prison. Depart to Saranda, the hillside town facing the sea, famous for its magnificent “Butrinti” archeological site. Visit the “Blue Eye” spring, formed by underground springs and the unusual church of St. Nicholas at Mesopotam with its fine carvings of mythological beasts. Overnight in Saranda.

    6. Day6 Saranda- Butrint- Ksamil Village- Saranda

      After breakfast drive to Butrint Today experience an included excursion to Butrinti Archaeological Site, visit the Temple of Aesclepios, the Baptistery, Nymph, The Theatre, Lions Gate, the Acropolis, etc. After we will explore Ksamil Village with best little beaches in Albania Optional Lunch in nice front sea fish restaurant in Ksamil Vilage (Sea Site)“ drive to Lekursi Castle restaurant (built on the ruins of an old castle). Balance of the day is at leisure to relax or explore on your own. Overnight in Saranda

    7. Day7 Saranda – Himara- Dhermi- Llogara

      After breakfast drive up to Albanian Riviera. En route making a short visit to the bay of Porto Palermo where the castle of Ali Pasha is situated. Continue climbing to 3,000 feet where you can enjoy the best views, as we drive, through the fertile slopes and villages.Drive along Himara, Dhermi coastline and stop for a special lunch in a restaurant in Llogara, enjoying the wonderful scenery among the pinewoods.     8. Day8 Llogara- Vlora - Kruja

      Morning tour takes you to a sightseeing tour in Vlora. Proceed to Ardenica – where is a medieval monastery surrounded by stonewalls. After continue to Kruja to Kruja – visits of the Castle, the Museum of Skanderbeg and the fascinating Ethnographic museum – a stroll along the old bazaar, which has a wonderful selection of souvenirs, Diner possible with live folk music show, Overnight I Kruja.     9. Day9 Kruja Airport end of Services

      After breakfast will have free time before we will drive to Tirana Airport. Possibility to stop and visit an Albanian Private house where can meet with local people and try our traditional spirit Rakia. Continue to Airport.

    Hotels in Albania are not to the same standard as those in the UK, EU or USA as tourism has not long been a major industry here. However, here are comfortable options and, in some places, very characterful places to stay. We use always the best possible selection boutique 3, 4 -star hotels BB, all en-suite.     Hotel Vila Alba Tirana

    Situated in the heart of the Old Town, Vila Alba is a boutique-style hotel. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. A private parking area is reserved for all guests and is free of charge. Hotel Vila Alba All rooms at Vila Alba feature high ceilings and a combination of classical and modern design. They feature air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a safe and a minibar. Private bathroom provides a walk-in shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony.

    Hotel Panorama Kruja

    Situated in the centre of Krujë, Hotel Panorama Kruje is set just 400 m from the historic fortress Kalaja e Krujes. The hotel features an on-site restaurant serving traditional Albanian specialties and offers free Wi-Fi and free garage parking.     TAB invests time and expertise into every customized itinerary of a tailor made tour. Therefore, we ask our customers to do a pre-payment of €50 when a third itinerary is proposed without a forthcoming booking. Subsequently when a booking is made the following guidelines apply:

    Payment of an online deposit of 20% of the remaining tour price + 4% service charge (over the deposit payment), via our secure online credit card payment system and pay the remaining amount minus the €50 pre-payment at our Tirana office prior to departure.

    Payment of the total amount, minus the €50 pre-payment, due through bank transfer with all transfer an wiring costs borne by the sender, no later than 14 days following receipt of the TAB invoice by the customers. For the avoidance of doubt, the transferred amount ought to have reached the TAB bank account within 14 days from the receipt of invoice by the customers.

    Children are welcome on our family tours and private departures. Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

     

    The local currency of Albania is Lek. In the bigger cities and the airport you can withdraw money with most foreign cards. Visa and other credit cards are sometimes accepted in bigger hotels and bigger restaurants. The easiest is to withdraw money in Tirana or one of the other bigger cities. You can take to 50.000 Lek per day. In many places, especially the touristic places and in Tirana you can either pay with Euros or you can exchange them.
